Here are a few tips to help avoid illness:
Encourage your child to frequently wash their hands, stay hydrated, eat well, and get plenty of sleep.
Always trust your instincts. It is better to have your child examined if you are concerned.
We recommend infants under two months old go to the emergency room for a rectal temperature of 100.4 or higher. If your child is between two months and three years of age, and has a rectal temperature of 103.4 or higher, speak with our triage nurse or one of our schedulers regarding a same-day appointment.
