Please be informed that chemo prophylaxis and treatment is necessary for high risk individuals and people who have the illness, or have been exposed to confirmed cases of influenza A or swine flu. Tamiflu, the indicated treatment ,may have serious side effects. We will not prescribe tamiflu for future use for potential illness. Tamiflu will be reserved for patients who have been exposed to a confirmed case or who have the illness confirmed by testing.
